As I said earlier in this thread, in case of any ties, the winner for each place will be decided on a countback - who was actually leading at the end of the previous round will be declared the winner.

tacomabob and kellysboytoy, thanks for joining in and helping to make this the fun competition that it was intended to be and the success that we hoped it would be.

I might point out that last years winner - Clino is also from the States, and has never seen a game of AFL in his life. And he may very well win it again this year.

The current leader this year, Lakatoi4, has also never seen a live game of AFL football. He is from Sydney and follows Rugby (and the wrong version at that!).

So lots of fun, but again, you do not need to know much about it to have a chance. Just buy the right sort of dartboard and use it every week for your tips, or alternatively, looking at the entrails of an owl or tea leaves may work.

But as we are at the pointy end of the season, the leaders are getting serious, and it will be interesting to see how tactically they make their selections this week (and how late in the week they make them), as 4 people into 3 prizes don't work.

With my powers of prediction at an all time low I don't think you need worry about any of my ramblings about collingwood. I just haven't gotten over the fiftys. As far as being evil - well - most non-collingwood people would agree with me, so bring on the finals and we will see whether evil defeats good.
(Please note that collingwood is spelt with a small letter 'C' to befit their image).

mrboggler,

Had a great time without even finding a stamp shop anywhere from Adelaide to Darwin.
Would recommend the Ghan trip to Darwin (with stopover at Alice) to all Stampboarders.
I was amazed at the number of indigenous kids running around with AFL jumpers on - sorry Norm not many Geelong ones. Mainly Adelaide, Eagle and Bomber jumpers.

Above All, I would not like to be eliminated before the last round as it has been some wonderful weeks participating in the contest - Despite of the fact that I am in no way winning here.

I would also like to thank you for your persistent hard work and huge effort in keeping track of all the weeks. Well Done!!!

It has been very enjoyable participating in this contest although I live in Pakistan and I also form part of the ELITE which have never seen an AFL game in life. Cricket and Field Hockey are probably the top games where we follow Aussie Kangaroos fanatically. It was definitely fun knowing you all and playing with you.
